Do you know how many inland waterway transport vessels are in operation in the Netherlands? According to Statistics Netherlands (as of 2022), there are 4866 vessels flying the Dutch flag that have also transported cargo on inland waterways in the Netherlands. Of these, 59% (2880) are cargo motor vessels.
